Rainforest Rainbow

Rainforest Rainbow is a collaborative piece created by 90 children aged 6 and 7. It depicts a rainforest through an explosion of colour and movement. Working in groups on a large scale, each class produced their own interpretation of the theme using paint, ink and printmaking. The children had been learning about rainforests and how they are vulnerable to deforestation and the final piece feels like an expression of hope for the future of this endangered habitat.
