Joy

After learning about the artist Tarsila do Amaral I was inspired by all the bright colours and her use of shapes to make my picture. The background and the lady are on separate pieces of paper. I layered them to get the feeling that she is in the forefront. I called my picture ‘Joy’ as she makes me feel joyful because of the bright, bright colours of the fruit and the rich green hills.
