Since moving to university my emotions have been at the forefront of my mind. I suffer with anxiety, so I decided to represent my main emotion of the day in the form of a colour. I chose to use watercolours to represent my emotions as they have a natural movement and fluidity. I have painted my diary of emotions in the form of a family calendar. The untouched columns represent my family members whom I don't see when I’m at university. The absence represents the change of not living with them anymore. This process has helped me to normalise the emotions I’m having and to be able to accept them as a part of who I am.
