Osun
Iyesha, Age 16
The portrait has been created with a charcoal pencil and a paintbrush to blend. I have always been fascinated with hyperrealism, so I thought drawing would be the perfect opportunity to experiment with that style of art. The work has been named after an African goddess - I wanted to name her Osun because it represents my culture. The name has the meaning of love and purity which I feel the portrait unveils.
