During lockdown my view was the river and I wondered what it was like to live in a town or a city. My mum had photographs of streets and I was inspired by pictures of The Elephant & Castle. The colour of the buildings stood out from the sky and loomed above any trees. This is my first oil painting, I painted over a paint by numbers canvas.
