This artwork was something I'd been wanting to make for a long time, but only now had the skills and patience to finish it. This was inspired by my love of science fiction and also Studio Ghibli movies, especially 'Howl's Moving Castle' with its exaggerated machinery and steampunk pipework that is displayed on many of the illustrations throughout the movie.
